Chemical Health and Violence Prevention Programs

The District 622 Chemical Health and Violence Prevention program can:
  • Conduct chemical use pre-assessments.
  • Provide short-term counseling and referral to students and their families.
  • Help students and their families when a student enters chemical use treatment. District staff will maintain contact with the treatment center, coordinating transportation when needed. Staff will also work with the treatment center, student and parents to create a plan for the student's return to school.
