Extended School Year

The purpose of the Extended School Year (ESY) services is to ensure that students maintain approximate skill level, as identified on their current IEP goals. IEP teams must determine that the student qualifies for ESY services by addressing regression and recoupment and/or self-sufficiency related IEP goal(s) at an IEP team meeting.

District ESY Documentation Form- IEP teams should use the following form when making the determination for ESY services. The form should be placed in the students due process folder. A copy must be sent to your building coordinator by April 15th.

July 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30 are tentative dates for ESY services. Student times will be from 8-10:00AM  and 10:00-12:00PM. Services times for individual students and location of programs will be finalized in May.

Further ESY planning questions should be directed to Katie Hoffman at 651-748-7461.
