Parent Notification



ESL teachers follow NCLB Title III rules for parent/guardian notification of ESL service.   Parents/guardians must be informed not later than 30 days after the beginning of the school year regarding identification for placement in ESL.  If the student is enrolled in the middle of the school year, parents must be notified not later than two weeks after the student's placement in such a program.
